[August 18, 2017: Deal is back for 8/17-8/23]

The Offer

Direct Link (pdf)

  • Get an 11% rebate on your Lowe’s purchase by mail-in rebate. Rebate will come in the form of a Lowe’s gift card or e-gift card.

This offer is eligible for purchases and for purchases made at select store. Check the 4th page of the PDF for the list of stores which are eligible. To save you time, eligible stores are only in these states: IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, WI, WY. I’m not sure if it’s all stores in those states or some stores. It’s generally valid in areas where Menards has a presence. One way to get around this is to change your Lowe’s store to a rebate eligible store and then ship items from that store (shipping is free in some cases).

The Fine Print

  • Valid for purchases made between July 27 and August 2, 2017 8/17-8/23 9/7-9/13]  10/12/2017 and 10/18/2017
  • Rebate must postmarked by 9/1/17 9/22/17 10/13 11/17/2017
  • No limit per household
  • Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing (data points from previous promos indicate it’ll come much faster); if you do not receive your rebate after 8 weeks visit, or you may call 1- 877- 204 -1223
  • Please keep a copy of all materials submitted for your records
  • Mail the form along with a photocopy of your cash register receipt
  • Check the correct box on the rebate form if you want an e-gift card instead of a physical gift card rebate
  • Offer excludes the purchases of Weber, Dacor, Icon, Fisher & Pakel, Monogram, Smeg, Liebherr, gift cards and service or installation
  • Purchases must be made on the same receipt

Our Verdict

Lowe’s is always a popular merchant. Most items can probably be ordered online, so this deal should work for most people. I’d assume even ship-to-store orders placed online are eligible for this rebate (?). Online orders have the advantage of being able to use a shopping portal. Common questions have been answered in the comments.

Just like Menards program .. Coupon only valid on future purchases at that store chain.
Reminds me to ask when and if anybody remembered to secure the gate after putting the horse in the corral after they see the horse on the hill.

  2. The Man says:

Great deal for those in the targeted areas.

  3. Corridor says:

Pick up in store also works for the rebate. We do it all the time.

    • Corridor says:

Also, ship to store works too. We purchased a pressure washer and received the rebate. The arrival of the item was after the rebate ended but the order was placed during the promotion.

      • Chuck says:

Isn’t ship to store and pick up in store the same?

        • Mark O says:

Technically yes….but pick up is within a few hours where they may have to ship it to the store and it saves you the $ vs shipping it to your house. They are the same thing but different time frames I guess.

        • Ann says:

pick up in store = product was already in stock in that store
ship to store = product special-ordered to that store just for you

  4. Ferris says:

Waste of money to shop at Lowe’s. Shop at Menards for cheaper prices and 11% rebates nearly a week every month.

    • Alex says:

I don’t have a menards local, but do they have an unlimited supply of $15 off $50, $20 off $100, and 10% off coupons which can be stacked with any of these other promotions in addition to having regular 10% off gift card promotions w/ 5x UR via PPDG, which all payout at topcashback?

  5. Alex says:

So any purchase works?.. I don’t have to have one of these stores local to me? And are these really no household limit? In other words, every order using a $15 off $50 would be eligible for this? Insane deal if so. As said above, you could stack this with topcashback and discounted gift cards. Anyone outside the listed zip codes have experience with these rebates?

    • Chuck says:

Yup, any should work. Not sure about the stack, but I don’t see anything excluding other coupon usage, and I’d guess it’ll work.

  6. Lizzeth says:

Looking to buy a refrigerator. Will shopping online work?

  7. Robert says:

Can this be combined with the military discount online?

    • Ann says:

I don’t see any indication that it wouldn’t… you’d just get the rebate off of the after-military-discount price rather than off of the current full price.

  8. Skippy says:

I’m a little confused by the terms. The form states “Purchases must be made on the same receipt,” but then later it states “2. No limit per household.” So is the amount of my purchase on one receipt “unlimited” (or limited only by my budget) or am I able to make multiple purchases on separate receipts and submit an “unlimited” number of rebate forms with one form per receipt?

  9. Elizabeth Allison says:

I sent in receipts for over $1500 for bath remodel and got back $48. What a rip off. Should have gone to Menards. They count almost everything!

  10. Daniel says:

Just made a purchase today. Can I simply ask for a match or something instead of returning it?

  11. Kria says:

I understand about eligible physical stores from the list as participating stores.

How does it work online? For anyone who buy online it will work for 11% rebate or for online also, it should match (one’s physical address zipcode ) should match to the ones listed for physical stores in the list?

  12. Kria says:

So if buying online it has to be from same zipcodes as per the list of physical stores only?

Or if i buy online i get 11% off as per this offer, regardless of where i live, in the eligible state though?

    • Because it needed manual approval? Just relax.

      > So if buying online it has to be from same zipcodes as per the list of physical stores only? That’s my understanding.

      • Skippy says:

I got the rebate in August and I don’t live in one of the eligible states. The items I ordered were delivered to my home. I’m not sure if it will work with online orders getting picked up from an ineligible store, but I’m going to try that this time since I have some larger items that probably won’t ship to my home for free.

  13. LowesDeals says:

    Thank you for the sharing.

  14. Paul says:

This reminds me that I have claimed my previous purchase. Then I found out the online submit disallows me because it’s “not in the promotion date”? I guess it’s because they change the department # each time in the PDF poster. Could someone share me the PDF poster for 8/17-8/23? Or the department in that poster.. Thanks very much!

  15. X-ray says:

I have about $1250 value of lowe’s egc. If I use the e giftcards, would I be eligible for the rebate?

  16. Connie says:

I bought $1338 worth of merchandise at Lowe’s during the July 4th rebate period and filed everything necessary to receive it. I’m still waiting. I’ve talked to them numerous times and I can honestly say they have the rudest customer service that ever existed, at one point I sat on hold for 33 minutes while they “took a look”. They admit that I did everything correctly but I filed online and “the internet always kicks everything out” according to them so they wanted me to file again by mail. I did one better. I filed a complaint with the BBB and within 2 days I had a CEO of their company on the phone with me apologizing. They say they are sending me the rebate and want me to withdraw my complaint. This is September 11th and I still haven’t received the rebate for merchandise bought in July so until I do, I won’t rescind any complaints.

  17. John says:

Filed electronically. Requested electronic gift cards (email). Receive 3 rebates in 3 days.

  18. Bo says:

This is just sweeter if you combine it with CB + 10% coupon = 25% off

    • Prem says:

Can I buy Lowe’s gift cards online and get it?

What do you mean by CB + 10% coupon = 25% off?

Please help with this awesome saving as I have a 10k expense for renovation coming up

      Thanks a zillion
