pnc $300 bonus

The Fine Print

  • Requirements must be completed within 60 days of account opening
  • The cash bonus will be credited to your new PNC Bank business checking account within 90 days of the date of meeting account opening and activation requirements
  • Any credit, if earned, will be forfeited if the account is closed before the credit is awarded
  • Existing PNC banking customers and customers establishing merchant services accounts with an initial term of less than one year are not eligible for this offer
  • All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

There is no early account termination fee, but you must kept the account open until the bonus posts. There is a $12 monthly maintenance fee on their most basic business checking account which is waived for the first three months, after that it is waived if you have a balance of $1,500 or greater.

Our Verdict

PNC are also offering a consumer checking bonus of $300, that is not bad but not as good as the $400 bonus they sometimes have. I wouldn’t bother with this business bonus as it requires merchant services and also requires you to put $20 through it to activate the bonus, the trouble of setting that up isn’t worth the $200. You can find a full list of all the business checking bonuses we do recommend here.

  1. Jason says:

    Sole Proprietorship
SSN of owner who will sign on account
Fictitious Name Registration, also known as Trade Name Registration, Certificate of Assumed Name, Registration of Alternate Name, or Assumed Name Registration

Above is from PNC’s website. I don’t have a trade name. I’ll say the chase business account offer is much much better and easier.

  2. Swapnil says:

Can this offer be used for credit card spending to meet minimum spending requirements? Does the credit card funding considered a spend or cash advance?

  3. Curmudgeon says:

Offer extended to 12/31/16 per the direct link.

  4. Sparky says:

I think I got screwed on this one. The merchant processing had a 3 year committment on the contract that I missed. ~$16 fee per month for 3 years.

  5. Curmudgeon says:

    Offer extended to 3/31/17.
